When you find yourself in the epicenter of awesome pizza, you might be overwhelmed with all of the delicious ‘za options on Long Beach Island. Lucky for you, you have us, the pizza connoisseurs of the county. We’re breaking down where to get the best pizza slice, where you can call up for speedy delivery, and where you can find the most unique pies you won’t find anywhere else.

Whether you’re stopping for a quick slice before you hit the beach or you’re dying for last-minute delivery, these are our go-to spots for the best pizza on Long Beach Island.

Bay Village Pizza

Beach Haven

If you’ve walked around Bay Village, you’ve definitely passed this Long Beach Island staple. Bay Village Pizza offers two things - pizza and fries. It’s not uncommon to see the line wind down the sidewalk on busy summer nights. But don’t be intimidated, it’s worth the wait for these ginormous fresh slices and mountains of fresh cut fries.

Panzone’s

Surf City and Beach Haven

With two locations situated on either end of the island, you’re never too far from this LBI staple. Panzone’s has been serving up piping hot slices on Long Beach Island since 1980 and they aren’t stopping any time soon. Grab a fresh slice for lunch or we recommend the “Spicy Hawaiian” pie if you’re feeling adventurous.

California Grill and Pizza

Long Beach Township

We all have that super picky friend who’s never in the mood for what everyone else wants. California Grill and Pizza is the solution to your food drama. In addition to delicious pizzas, they offer paninis, burgers, salads, and some of the best crab cakes you’ll find on LBI. Stop by and try their award-winning clam chowder. It’s so good that you’ll be craving it even on those scorching hot summer days.

Fusaro’s

Manahawkin

If you’re heading off the island to pick up some forgotten beach essentials at Target, save yourself the hassle of making dinner and call up Fusaro’s. A local favorite, Fusaro’s pizzas might be worth the drive to the mainland in and of itself. The specialty pizzas are unlike anything you might find on the island. We are obsessed with the Chicken Bacon Ranch pie and the kids will love their Mac and Cheese pizza.

A Slice of Heaven

Beach Haven

There aren’t a ton of pizza places on the island that deliver and there are even fewer who deliver GOOD pizza! A Slice of Heaven is right in the heart of Beach Haven and they’ve got some of the best pizza on Long Beach Island. The best part? You can get it delivered right to your door. Did we mention they’re open year ‘round? We love A Slice of Heaven and once you try it, you’ll understand the hype!

Joey’s Pizza & Pasta

Ship Bottom and Manahawkin

There’s something comforting about a classic pizza joint that’s been around forever, and Joey’s delivers just that — literally. With two locations and a menu full of all the hits (plain, pepperoni, meat lover’s, veggie, you name it), Joey’s is a reliable go-to whether you’re grabbing a pie on your way home from the beach or ordering in for a low-key movie night. Bonus: their pasta dinners and garlic knots are also major crowd-pleasers.

BLVD Pizza

Surf City

Blink and you might miss it, but locals know BLVD Pizza is low-key one of the best spots for a crisp, satisfying slice. They keep it simple: delicious dough, quality cheese, and just the right amount of sauce. It’s the kind of pizza that makes you do the slow head nod after the first bite. Perfect for a quick lunch stop or grabbing a pie to take back to your rental for dinner.

Queen City Crust

Beach Haven

If you’re looking for a slightly elevated pizza experience without going full white-tablecloth, Queen City Crust is for you. Their dough is hand-stretched and their toppings lean gourmet — we’re talking fig jam, balsamic glaze, prosciutto, and arugula. But don’t worry, they also do a mean margherita and a killer pepperoni. Great for dine-in or grabbing a few specialty pies to go.

Liberta Pizzeria Americana

Beach Haven Terrace

New to the scene but already making waves, Liberta Pizzeria brings that Neapolitan-style pizza magic to the island. Their wood-fired pies come out with bubbly crusts and super fresh ingredients that feel more artisan than fast food. Try the Hot Honey or the Burrata Pie for something unforgettable. It’s a little more niche, but totally worth the hype.

Whether you're a fold-it-in-half kind of pizza lover or the kind who lives for fancy toppings and crispy crust edges, LBI has a pie for every preference. From casual boardwalk slices to wood-fired works of art, these are the spots we trust to bring the heat (and the cheese). Go forth. Eat the slice. Get extra napkins. And don’t forget — cold pizza the next morning hits just as hard.
