All these new outdoor dining areas on LBI make us so happy, and not just because we are obsessed with dining al fresco… it means we can bring our dogs along to dine with us! We are always looking for an opportunity to show off our extremely photogenic pup, Potato (he's kind of a ham). We’ve scoped out some of the best LBI restaurants that would love to host your and your dog. These dog friendly-restaurants aren’t just approved by us, of course. Our dogs give these spots two paws up! Most of these spots will offer you an ice-cold water bowl and some treats for your pup, but be sure to come prepared just in case.

Biggies Beach Grill
Biggies Beach Grill always brings the beachy vibes and both you and your dog are guaranteed to leave totally relaxed and with lots of leftovers. While we usually take our Jamaican Jerk Chicken Bowl to-go for a beachside picnic, when we have our dog with us we like to enjoy our meal at Biggies’ umbrella-covered tables in their outdoor picnic area. Biggies is the definition of “vacation food” with super fresh ingredients and creative Caribbean-style eats that you won’t find anywhere else on LBI.
The Local
Those looking for their coffee fix already know The Local is the spot to go (S'mores latte!!!), but did you know they also offer a great dog-friendly environment with quality food to boot? Once you get your hands on your favorite specialty coffee, chorizo and egg wrap or speciality sandwich, get your pup settled into the covered patio and ready to mingle. The airstream out back also serves light breakfast so you don’t even need to order inside, and it’s a great place to hang out and catch up with friends. Woodies Drive-In
If your dog goes crazy whenever there's burgers on the grill in the backyard, then they are going to be in absolute heaven at Woodies Drive-In! This casual “drive-in” style restaurant welcomes dogs and our dogs really appreciate that. You order at the window and enjoy your grub at the picnic tables out front. We’re partial to “The Pickler” burger, topped with fried pickle chips, piping hot fries and a root beer float.
Wally’s
We always appreciate when restaurants love our dogs just as much as we do and we always feel the love at Wally’s. Not only is the food amazing at Wally’s (breakfast anywhere else is never the same), but our dogs love Wally’s too! They always have ice cold bowls of water out on hot days for dogs and dog treats if they’re extra good ;). Wally’s back patio is the perfect place to bring your dog and just relax under the tent in the shade while you enjoy breakfast/lunch/dinner. It’s BYOB and BYOP (bring your own pup)!
