Easter may look different this year than it has in the past, but we’re making sure no matter what you plan on doing, there’s some awesome food involved. Dress up in your Easter best and enjoy brunch on the island with your fam or grab takeout from a local spot. Because cooking at home is so 2020, right? Don’t know what’s open or which new spot to try? Check out some of our recommendations below.

The Arlington

If you and the family are looking for an excuse to get out of the house and be wined and dined, The Arlington is serving up their brunch menu a la carte this Easter. Call ahead or make reservations online here. Not-to-be-missed are the oysters on the 1/2 shell and the brunch burger! Top it all off with one (or a few) of their legendary bloody mary’s.

Lucille’s Candies

We heard the Easter Bunny shops exclusively at Lucille’s Candies, so you’re definitely going to want to stop by for the best goodies. With chocolate covered oreos, giant chocolate bunnies, and pre-made Easter pails and baskets, Lucille’s is making the Easter Bunny’s job easier than ever this year.

A Little Bite of Italy & Francis’

Even if Easter is at home this year we know you’re sick of cooking (and cleaning) so grab takeout! A Little Bite of Italy & Francis’ is whipping up Easter Pies that are to die for. Call by Friday, April 2 to place your order in advance and ensure your guests can enjoy layers of Italian meats and cheeses nestled in a flaky crust. Missed the deadline to order? No problem. A Little Bite of Italy is open on Easter Sunday to stock up on your Italian deli needs.

Topsail Steamer

Just in time for Easter, “The Spring Steamer” has arrived at Topsail Steamer! Place your order on their site and pick up the day-of for the easiest brunch/lunch/dinner you’ll ever serve.  Each steamer comes with everything you need, including a pot! All you have to do is steam and serve. Shrimp, clams, scallops and more make an Easter feast a breeze.

Birdy’s Cafe and Artisan Market

If you’re looking for something more low-key this Easter, Birdy’s Cafe is the spot. Bring a bottle of your favorite bubbly and enjoy an avocado toast, fresh-baked pastry and an amazing specialty coffee. They will be offering a special Easter Brunch menu so keep an eye out on Instagram. Reservations are not required but highly encouraged and don’t forget to BYOB!

Here’s a few of our other favorite restaurants that are open on Easter:

Tucker’s Tavern
